The comfort, health and safety of our guests and staff have always been at the heart of our business. In our apartments we have always been rigorously applying high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Today, in order to contain the COVID-19 we remain vigilant towards the advice and measures of health experts and government authorities.
In this regard we have adopted additional procedures to protect our guests.

CLEANING AND SANITIZATION

As indicated by the World Health Organization (Operational considerations for the management of COVID-19 in the extra-hotel sector), all apartments are sanitized at check-out with:

• a disinfectant solution (containing 96% ethyl alcohol) for objects that are frequently touched, such as door and window handles, knobs, switches, remote controls, etc.
• active chlorine for floors and bathrooms.

These same products are used for weekly cleaning for longer stays.
Bed linen and towels are washed at temperatures high enough to ensure sterilization.
After the check-out cleaning of each apartment, we sanitize with SANI NEB which is a u.l.v. aerosol nebulizer (ultra low volume) suitable for sanitizing small and medium spaces. It produces a sanitizing mist leaving the surfaces dry and without residues. It is used with the detergent AMINOSEPT10, which is a broad-spectrum medical-surgical disinfectant complying with the requirements of the ministerial regulations for the treatment of surfaces in terms of prevention from Covid-19. AMINOSEPT10 is a high-performance concentrated disinfectant detergent concentrate with excellent microbicidal results, based on triamine technology. On April 25, 2020, the Istituto Superiore della Sanità (ISS), a technical body of the Ministry of Health, published a Report entitled "Interim recommendations on disinfectants in the current Covid-19
emergency: medical surgical devices and biocides". This note issued "provide a series of information on the type of products available and the procedures to be followed to limit the spread of the virus" gives "broad overview of the products available on the market and their effectiveness". Among the effective active ingredients present in the formulas of products registered as PMC are N-(3-AMMINOPROPYL)-N-DODECYLPROPAN-1,3-DIAMMINE, active ingredient of Aminosept 10. Moreover, also the literature available on the web showed that this biocidal active ingredient was effective in a concentration corresponding to Aminosept 10 at 1% on Viruses with casing, similar to Coronavirus, even in the presence of small amounts of organic interfering substance.
We carry out the sanitization of air conditioners (hot/cold air) with periodic controls.
The system and filters are sanitized using special antibacterial sanitizing products as indicated in the ISS Covid Report of May 2020, latest version of May 25, 2020. 
Each apartment is equipped with a dispenser containing a disinfectant solution available for guests.

CHECK-IN AND PRE CHECK-IN at time of booking

The staff who check in guests and access the apartments for cleaning is equipped with PPE i.e. gloves and disposable surgical masks, to ensure total compliance with the rules provided by the Ministry of Health, for maximum health protection and the highest level of safety for all. At check-in there will be a dispenser with alcoholic disinfectant solution for hand cleaning.
Guests are kindly requested to present themselves at check-in with surgical mask.
In addition, to facilitate check-in procedures and make the moment of reception more pleasant and safe, at the time of booking you will be sent by e-mail a PRE-CHECK-IN form, in which you will have to enter all your personal data necessary for registration at the Police Headquarters in Florence and for billing. In this way the physical check-in with our staff will be limited to the delivery of the keys and payment.
